The Old Order Amish believe in not letting anything go to waste. When the childrens clothing can no longer be passed down, the clothing material is put to good use by making rugs out of it.

You can't get any more authentic than a rug made by the Amish out of clothes worn by the Amish which was originally made and sewn by the Amish.
